The Practice


AM yoga has nothing to do with specific religious beliefs, and so it is being practiced by people of all different religions and belief systems.

The physical yoga systems of AM are mostly ancient time-tested methods of improving/healing the body. They must be practiced slowly without any pain, stress or dizziness. Exercises are prescribed individually according to your own needs relating to your hormones, nerves, internal organ health, blood circulation, general vitality, and specific diseases. Everyone has the capacity to do yoga exercises. Everyone learns those exercises which you will be able to enjoy and perform. Even persons in a wheelchair have appropriate exercises.

Meditation is likewise ancient and time-tested. If it is practiced regularly at least twice daily, then within just a couple of weeks, one can clearly experience the definite personal benefits. These benefits vary as much as people's personal interest and conditions vary. Meditation helps to overcome stress, emotional weaknesses and sleep disturbances. At the same time it develops one's concentration, creativity, intuition, personal relations, will-power, and ability to adhere to one's conscience. Ultimately it serves as one's most important practice for acheiving spiritual self-realization.
